Focus on self-sufficiency and technical expertise

Focus on self-sufficiency and technical expertise

Currently, we own our own sawmill, supplying the factory with planks. Zhichang Flooring, with its expertise and capabilities, manages every stage of the wood flooring production process, ensuring comprehensive quality control.
Material Sourcing & Selection

Material Sourcing & Selection

We procure or prduce veneers specifically based on client orders. Upon receipt, all veneers are rigorously sorted and inspected against established grade standards (length, width, and thickness). Any material that does not meet the specified standard is isolated and channeled for alternative use, ensuring only compliant veneers advance to production.

Kiln Drying and Moisture Control

Precision Moisture Acclimation
We simultaneously kiln dry the wood veneer/lamella and the plywood core components. After drying, we stock the materials for several days. This critical resting period allows the moisture content to be carefully and precisely controlled, ensuring the wood is properly acclimated and suitable for performance in diverse regional climates
Precision Bonding

Precision Bonding

Plywood cores are uniformly coated with glue using specialized machinery before the wood veneer is precisely applied by hand.
Pressing

Pressing

This assembly is then cold-pressed to ensure a perfect, durable bond. We exclusively use Franklin cold glue from the USA, which meets the stringent E0 and CARB Phase 2 standards for superior air quality and safety.

Knot Filling and Defect Repair

Following the cold press stage, the veneered boards are transferred for immediate defect treatment, focusing primarily on knots and surface cracking.
We utilize epoxy resin as the filler due to its superior durability. This resin is formulated to be hard and permanent, ensuring it will not crack or fall out over time. To maintain the aesthetic integrity of the board, we incorporate pigments into the epoxy to perfectly match the color of the surrounding knots and wood grain.
The primary benefit of our epoxy repair system is its efficiency: it boasts an 8-hour quick-drying time. This significantly shortens the overall production timeline while guaranteeing a hard, stable fill that you never have to worry about peeling or softening.
Precision Sanding and Uniform Brushing

Precision Sanding and Uniform Brushing

Following the setting of the epoxy resin, the boards proceed to the sanding stage. Our advanced sanding machinery is capable of simultaneously sanding the bottom and top surfaces while performing the brushing step. This integrated process significantly shortens production time and maintains exceptional consistency, ensuring the final height difference is kept within a tight tolerance of 0.1 mm.The brushing process creates a superior, uniform texture. Unlike control samples that may show intermittent and incomplete brushing, our method ensures the wood grain is brought out in a complete and uniform manner across the entire surface.
Precise Profiling

Precise Profiling

For both plank and herringbone flooring, we guarantee superior quality using the most advanced profiling machinery. This elite equipment represents a significant investment of over $500,000 USD, a commitment to technology that prevents most smaller factories from competing at our level of quality. Our machine delivers the best possible profiling accuracy and boasts a massive daily capacity of 5,000~6,000 m², ensuring both perfect precision and high-volume output.

High-Quality UV Finishing Lines

We utilize two dedicated finishing lines to achieve a wide array of protective and aesthetic effects for our flooring.
Our commitment to quality finishing is demonstrated by our use of industry-leading coating brands, including:Treffert/Bona/Monocoat/ Loba/WOCA.
By offering this selection of premium UV lacquers and UV oils, we ensure that we can meet any client specification—from durable high-gloss finishes to natural, penetrating oil effects—guaranteeing superior protection and the precise look required for diverse market needs.
Final Quality Inspection

Final Quality Inspection

A meticulous final manual quality check and classification are essential to guarantee optimal product performance. Our comprehensive Final Quality Inspection/covers every critical dimension, including:Edge Accuracy/Width, Length, and Thickness/Grade/Surface Finish/Backer Board Integrity. This rigorous final check ensures the wood flooring meets all specifications, allowing for quick, hassle-free installationand preventing difficulties on the job site.
Packaging and Warehouse Advantage

Packaging and Warehouse Advantage

We employ a robust, multi-layered packaging system to ensure your flooring arrives in perfect condition and is protected throughout transit. Premium Protection:Inside each carton, an EVA protective film is placed between individual boards. This soft layer prevents the finished surface from scratching. The entire bundle is then wrapped in an inner plastic film to create a moisture barrier. This critical step safeguards the moisture content stability of the flooring during long sea shipments, protecting it all the way to your warehouse. Storage Excellence:Before shipment, our finished products are held in a clean, climate-controlled warehouse. This controlled environment further protects the flooring s integrity by maintaining ideal temperature and humidity conditions, guaranteeing that the wood remains perfectly acclimated and ready for installation upon arrival at your destination.
